FAQ
What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a collaborative, reflective process that helps you understand yourself more deeply—your emotions, patterns, relationships, and inner world. Often, our present struggles are shaped by childhood and past experiences that still quietly influence how we think, feel, and respond today. Therapy offers a safe, non-judgmental space to explore those experiences, make meaning of them, and gently loosen the grip of old patterns so you can move forward with more clarity, choice, and emotional freedom.

What are the benefits of Counseling?
Counseling offers more than symptom relief—it creates space for meaningful, lasting change. Through the therapeutic process, you gain insight into how your past experiences and early relationships shape your present thoughts, emotions, and choices. With that awareness comes the ability to respond differently, rather than repeating familiar patterns.
Some of the benefits include:
• A deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and your needs
• Healing from unresolved childhood or relational experiences
• Relief from anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, or feeling “stuck”
• Healthier boundaries and more fulfilling relationships
• Increased self-compassion, confidence, and emotional resilience
• The ability to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and intention
Counseling is a space where you are seen, heard, and supported—without judgment. Over time, many clients experience not just feeling better, but living differently, with more freedom, authenticity, and connection.

How long are sessions?
Sessions are offered in 50-minute, 75-minute, or 100-minute formats, depending on your needs and goals. While individual sessions often fit comfortably within shorter timeframes, couples and relationship work typically benefit from longer sessions, allowing space for both partners to be heard, understood, and supported without feeling rushed. We’ll choose a length that best supports meaningful, unhurried work.

What are the costs?
What are the costs per session?
• $250 per session
• Extended sessions: $300-$500
These fees reflect dedicated, in-depth therapeutic work designed to create lasting change—emotionally, relationally, and personally.
